FIBO 2026 came in hot and finished hotter — six divisions, 312 competitors, and a guest-pose lineup that would have headlined any pro show on the calendar.

Cologne's Messe halls were packed from Friday's amateur prelims through Sunday night's pro finale, with European federation officials confirming a 14% bump in athlete registrations year over year. The show's reputation as the continent's de facto qualifying weekend is no longer up for debate.

Division by division

Open went to a returning veteran on a clean conditioning package; Classic Physique was the closest scorecard of the weekend; Men's Physique produced an upset that nobody on press row had on their card. Bikini and Wellness both crowned first-time pro winners, and the Figure final came down to a single judge's tiebreaker.

Europe is producing pros faster than the federation can write contracts.
